Introduction

A comedic adventure about family, belief, and the mysteries that continue to draw humanity toward the unknown.

THE UNKNOWN — When two cousins reunite after years apart—one a UFO-obsessed conspiracy theorist from California and the other a laid-back skeptic from Florida—their weekend getaway takes an unexpected turn. Armed with homemade equipment, wild theories, and endless political debates, they venture deep into the woods in search of a mysterious message they believe is being transmitted from space.

As strange events unfold, the cousins clash over everything from aliens and government cover-ups to politics and personal beliefs, turning their expedition into a hilarious battle of worldviews. Filled with sharp humor, family banter, and unexpected moments of wonder, this comedic short film explores how people with completely different perspectives can still find common ground—even while arguing about whether extraterrestrials are trying to contact humanity.
